Club History

Bexley and Sidcup Lions Club was formed in 1963 by our Charter members to serve the needy locally in the district and globally.

The Club has been fortunate to serve a community that gives tremendous support to the fund raising activities which have been jumble sales, fetes, quiz nights, bollywood nights, sponsored walks, Christmas Street Collections, stalls at various fairs, race nights and line dances, boot sales. We were part of the team organising the Marafun which ran for several years. We were instrumental in setting up the Bexley Carnival and ran successful Swimmarathons for several years.
