The Wirral has numerous community groups to which you can turn for help,and advice.

Here are a few of them.

Gautby Road Play and Community Centre

This centre has numerous activities for all ages. Starting with a Playscheme for children aged 6 - 14. Playscheme offers arts & crafts, sports games, freeplay and access to outdoor space. The centre has their own social supermarket that is open weekly. The centre also has a reptile room & media suite 

Neo Community

This centre is based in Beaconsfield Community Centre, Rock Ferry. Neo was founded in 2013, it has grown in size success and determination from its directors and team members. It has helped over the years to set up 100s of events. The staff are fully of help and advice. 

Wired

Wired is of a society in which disadvantaged people can lead full and indepenedent lives fully participating in society. Their mission is to promote the equality, dignity and independence of disadvantaged people. They offer a variety of services such as help and advice.

Involve Northwest 

Are a non-profit organisation, based in Wirral. With services such as employment support, welfare and benefits advice and domestic abuse support, Involve Northwest’s key objective is to continue to empower and enable local people through access to clear, concise information and guidance through a high-quality service.

The Hive Wirral Youth Zone

Wirral Youth Zone named by the young people as "The Hive" is a purpose-built facility for the city's young people aged 8-19 and up to 25 for those with disabilities. The Youth Zone is located next to the new fire station on Bright Street, in the centre of Birkenhead and opened on 8th April 2017.

North Birkenhead Development Trust / St James Centre

St James Centre is situated in Laird Street, Birkenhead. It is a multi-purpose community centre, offering Opportunities for the whole community. It offers courses for people to improve their skills and activity groups that people can attend so you are able to meet new friends. 

Friends of Birkenhead Park

Friends of Birkenhead Park is a group of local people who maintain the park and arrange events through the year for memebrs of the public to attend to help raise funds and awareness of the park.

Royal British Legion Club

Royal British Legion Club sometimes called "The Legion". Supporting Service Men and Women, Veterans And their families since 1921. Providing Lifelong Support for the Armed Forces Community.
