The next Lions sponsored Impact Life blood drive will be Monday June 08, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at St. Andrews Catholic Church Fellowship Hall in Blue Grass, Iowa. Please eat a well-balanced meal within four hours of donating and drink plenty of hydrating fluids, especially water, from today's date until that date, if you plan to donate. At this time there will be two Double Red Beds available at this drive. Please bring your Blood donor card and your picture ID driver’s license, or picture ID Card. Donors must be at least 17 years old and above, meet eligibility rules, and weigh at least 110 lbs. We need at least seven first time donors, and also, people who have moved into Blue Grass and have given elsewhere. 16 years old will be accepted if they meet the eligibility rules and only with parental consent form filled out and signed by parent, or by accompanying them to the drive. Please obtain a donor consent form at: https://www.bloodcenter.org/donate/earlyq/ There is a link for the Parental Consent Form in Step 2. The mask mandate is lifted and now optional.
