About Us

The Brighton Lions, located in South Brighton, South Australia, are a welcoming bunch of men of women who are eager to support our community in a myriad of different ways.  We are an active club with plenty of opportunities for members to participate in a number of different activities to support the club and our community.

Our Lions Club Shed is located at 6 Tweedale Avenue in South Brighton.  We operate from the shed for a number of fundraising activities including weekly book sales and garage sale/op shop like sales that helps generate revenue that we can donate throughout the community.

We also engage in Lions Christmas Cake sales typically from when Santa arrives with the Adelaide Pagaent through to about 5 days before Christmas.  This fundraising activity includes cooperation with social clubs and schools from around the area, helping us keep in close contact with various groups in our community strengthening our relationship and also getting some much needed assistance to cover the large territory we cover.

Effectively the Brighton Lions Club supports the entire community of Holdfast Bay, stretching from Glenelg down to Marino.  Our members come from across Adelaide.

Meetings are held twice monthly on the first and third Tuesday of each month starting at 6:30pm.  Our meetings are held at the Marion Club just off Sturt Road.  Members are invited to have dinner at the meeting or they can simply come for the meeting. .

The Brighton Lions are proudly part of Lions International, filled with people who are joined by the common desire to make their communities better, by using their creativity, enthusiasm and energy.

We are actively seeking new members who want to be part of something special in our community.

We hope to hear from you.
