What Is the Brighton Lions Club?
Our club of 26 men and women is a group of community volunteers--mostly Brighton residents--who offer their time and services to help the blind, visually impaired, seniors, youth, and Brighton residents in need. Most people in Michigan are also familiar with Lions' work with Leader Dogs for the Blind, Bear Lake Camp for children with disabilities, and the Penrickton Center for the Blind. We are part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service organization in the world.

Want to Volunteer or Become a Member?
We openly welcome new volunteers and members—men and women of all abilities—to join our club and lend enthusiasm, support, and caring to our community work.
You are invited to join us for our next meeting. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm at our “Community Den” building in Downtown Brighton on Main St. (next to the railroad tracks, behind the Mexican restaurant) and the 4th Wednesday of each month at 8:15am at a local restaurant (please call 810-542-1147 for location). Holiday weeks are excluded. Please stop by to find out what projects we are currently working on. We’re excited to meet you!
Want to become a member? You can download the membership application by clicking here. Just fill it out and hand it to one of our members. Members are asked to make a semi-annual donation to the Brighton Lions Club of $40 for membership (that's less then $7.00 per month). Meeting attendance is never mandatory, and we welcome members of all abilities and anyone who has new ideas how to better serve the community.
