Cable & Area Lions Club 

WE have several projects each year

At least three scholarships are awarded to outstanding Drummond High School Seniors to assist them with their post high school educational plans

Weekly our members drive to the homes of elderly and shut in residents delivering food and a friendly face to assist them as part of Bayfield County's Meals On Wheels Program

The Fourth of July picnic includes and old fashioned community parade and picnic.  Hot dogs, BBQ, Bingo, games for the kids and lots of community spirit highlight this annual event and fund raiser

Operation Rudolph provides clothes, food, and toys to those in our community who need some cheer during the holidays

Fruit baskets are provided to elderly residents during the holidays

Halloween Party for the children at Drummond Elementary School including games, treats and the Cable Clowns

Annually our club president selects a major project for the club to dedicate its efforts

WE contribute to many local community organizations over $15,000 annually

  • Party equipment-a large tent including set up and take down, tables and chairs to make any gathering more festive (also a fund raising activity)
  • Cable Clowns provides laughs and entertainment at many local events throughout the year
  • Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival-provide refreshment at food station during this 40 mile bike race
  • Sponsor Boy Scout Troop 350
  • Provide vision screening at Drummond School and in our community
  • Diabetes Awareness
