Youth of the Year 2022

We were glad that we were able to participate in this years competition after it being paused due to Covid-19. The Lions Club of Capalaba hosted the club final as well as the region final, we witnessed four dedicated students compete in the club final. All four students were school captains from Alxandra Hills State High School, they all performed two impromptu speeches and one prepared speech. After deliberation from the judges, it was decided that the winner was Zoe and the public speaker award was awarded to David. It was an outstanding effort from all the students and a great event. A massive thank you to our members for setting up the event, supplying equipment and the afternoon tea for judges and students.
