WELCOME TO CLERMONT-MINNEOLA LIONS CLUB

We are a Club that knows how to have fun in helping our community, our state and the entire world.

We cover all of South Lake County.  The Club meets the second Thursday of the month at IHOP South HWY 27, 2589 South Highway 27, Clermont, FL 34711.

The meeting starts at 6PM. The Club makes a special effort to invite guests.  During the first meeting of the month, we discuss the general business of the Club.  Following the business presentation any invited guest speakers from the community will be heard..

Clermont-Minneola Lions Club was founded April 12, 1949 with 31 members and has had a significant impact on the community ever since.

Gun shoots have become the most popular fund raising events the past several years. Gun shoots are conducted the second, third and fourth Saturdays from 8:00 am - noon at our range located in Groveland directly across from Tractor Supply on SR 50.   Handguns (.45cal and smaller, plus .22 rifles only). Skeet Shooting with shotguns is also provided.  Cost for using pistol range is $15.00 - bring your own ammo.   Cost for skeet is $5.00 for 10 clays using your own shells. Club has shells available at $1.00 each.

The Club is also involved with vision diabetes screening several times a year at different locations.

The Club is involved with collection of used glasses that are sorted, classified and shipped all over the world.

Longest continuing serving member is: Nick Jones.

The needs in our community are growing very fast.  Be a volunteer with a bunch of roaring Lions that know how to get things done and know how to have a great time doing it.

Located south on SR 33, Jack and Lelani Travis founded this superb professional skiing complex 1973.
