Our Lions Club is grateful for the support of the above businesses to allow us to take part in this mission.

Where are the donated eyeglasses sent?
The closest recycling center in our area is the New Jersey Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center (NJLERC) at the Katzenbach School in West Trenton, NJ. It handles over 1 million pairs each year and is one of 18 Recycling Centers worldwide hosted by Lions Club International.
The purpose of the NJLERC as an organization is to collect, clean, neutralize and designate the prescription of used eyeglasses and to store and package them for distribution to needy groups and individuals throughout the world. Their mission - “Give the Gift of Sight”. Website: http://www.njlerc.org/

The Eagle-Glenmoore Lions Club always welcome new members! We meet the 1 & 3rd Tuesdays each month, September through June,  at the Ludwig's Corner Fire Co, at 6:00 PM. Come through the glass double doors.

More information about eyeglass recycling can be found at: NJLERC.org (New Jersey Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center.)
