Governor Official Annual Visit-January 1st, 2012:

District Governor Lion. Kotapalli Ravi Kumar made his annual visit on january 1st, 2012. On the same day, District Governor with the members of Lions Club of Eluru made donations to the poor and needy people.

Permanent Project-October 31st, 2011:

Safe drinking water project was inauguarated by Lions Club of Eluru Member
M.M.Gupta built on Kaikalur By Pass Road, Eluru at a cost of Rs. 4,00,000, on 31st October, 2011 serving the daily needs of about 1000 families.

15 members of the club attended to support this noble project.

Felicitation Function-October 15th, 2011:-

Lions Club of Eluru hosted the Felicitation function of PMJF Lion R. Sunil Kumar International Director Endorsee - MD 324C-7 on Saturday 15th October, 2011 from 6:30 P.M at Madupalli Mohana Gupta Malleswari Eluru Lions Multi Service Centre, Chakka Raja Rao Damayanthi Hall, Chataparru Road, Eluru - 5.


International Day of Peace-September 21st,2011:-

 Lions Club of Eluru is organized a rally to mark the significance of International Day of Peace on September 21. The rally was started at 10:00 A.M from the president's home and visited different schools and ended at the Jewellery market.

15060 Students from different schools joined in with Lions Club of Eluru members for one minute of silence and prayer to support the 2011 International Day of Peace.

Eye Donation Awareness-September 8th, 2011

Event Details: Lions Club of Eluru organised an eye donation awareness rally on 8th September, 2011 Starting at President's house at 10:00 am, the rally comprised a group of members from club and ended at the Jewellery market where the organisers had put up an information desk for imparting knowledge to the public about eye donation.

Teachers Day Celebration- September 5th, 2011:-

Event Details: Lions Club of Eluru had celebrated Teachers Day on 5th September, 2011 with the students and teachers to mark the 123rd Birthday,of the second President of India, academic philosopher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
In this occasion, Lions Club of Eluru had distributed chocolates, teachers were honoured and conducted various fun loving activities among childrens.

Event Details: Lions Club of Eluru celebrated Mother Theresa day with Premalayam Old age home. Club members distributed Biscuits, Oranges to 50 Old womans.

Plantation of Saplings-August 25th, 2011:-

Event Details: Lions Club of Eluru had planted 12,755 saplings in 6 hours between 10:00 A.M and 04:00 P.M. The event was inaugurated by Sri. P. Ramesh Babu, Prl. District Judge, Eluru by planting the first sapling sharp at 10:00 A.M.

65th Independence Day Celebration- August 15, 2011:-

Event Details :Lions Club of Eluru celebrated Independence Day with the school childrens. Flag was hoisted at 9:00 A.M. Club members distributed chocolates and sweets to the childrens and prizes were distributed the students who stood first and second in their respective classes. Flag hoisted by Lion. Murlidhar Soni, President-Lions Club of Eluru.

Aadhar Card Registration-July 27th, 2011:-

Event Details:  Lions Club of Eluru has taken the first initiative for the fiscal year 2010-2011 to provide a facility to register for UId card for all family members of Lions and Eluru Jewellery association members. The registration was started on July 27th, 2011 in the presence of District Chairman- Lion Sani Nageswara Rao. 2500 Members have registered for this card.

Installation Function-July 17th, 2011

Event Details:  The New Committee of Lions Club of Eluru was installed by Past District Governor Lion Epuri Satyanarayana on 17th July 2011 at the Building Premises of Lions Club of Eluru. Lion Soni Murlidhar was installed as new Lion President, Lion K. Sudhakara Rao was installed as new Secretary and Lion Saladi Surendra Gupta was installed as new Treasurer for the Year 2011-12 along with other Committee Designative. The function had great presence of over 70 Club Members and Delegates even from out of Eluru. Over 100 other guests also participated in this event.
