Father Christmas on his sleigh collection

In December 2018 we will be undertaking our first ever Christmas collection. Father Christmas on his sleigh will be touring the residential roads of Minworth to give children an early opportunity to meet the great man. At the same time the Lions will be knocking on doors for a house to house collection to raise funds for Birminham Exhibition Lions Club Charitable Trust Fund (Registered Charity Number 506239)

Chosen Charity

This year 2018 - 2019 the club has chosen to support Solihull Mind and other Lions' Charities, and we will be donating funds collected at our fund raising events during 2017 - 2018.

Charity Can Shakes

All through the year we will be doing Can Shake Collections on the main concourse, between the B'ham International Station & the NEC entrance. This will be on different days of the month & at different times, all listed on our calendar. The donations collected go towards our nominated charities & Lions' charities.

Solihull 7

The Club has joined up with the other 6 Lions' Clubs in Solihull to try and raise public awareness of Lionism in the area. We will be undertaking various joint events during the year, the next events will be tin shakes on Dovehouse Parade, Solihull in March and July 2019. The 7 Solihull Clubs are also raising funds to help pay for a Man Shed at the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull.

Fund Raising via Gumtree

We have our own Gumtree account and items donated to the club are then sold with the proceeds going to Birmingham Exhibition Lions Club.
