Ready to Help, Worldwide

Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller.  And communities get better.  That's because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.

Our 45,000 clubs and more than 1.35 million members make us the world's largest service club organization.

The Fairdale Lions Club provides both direct and indirect support to the community.  We have a special interest in programs that serve the visually impaired.  Our club projects include:

·        Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation

·        Fairdale Community Fair

·        Leader Dog for the Blind

·        Eye exams and eyeglasses

·        Fairdale Area Community Ministries

·        Christmas baskets and toys for the needy

·        Annual Easter egg hunt for local children

·        Monthly fish fry

·        Free eye screening at the Kentucky State Fair

·        Lions Camp Crescendo (for visually impaired and special needs children)

·        Youth sports

·        College scholarships for graduating seniors at Fairdale High School

·        Fruit trays for senior citizens

·        Other community projects
