Fairfield Glade Lions Club Charities, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization that we use to handle our fund raising and charitable giving. Donations to this organization are tax deductible.

In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020 we raised $50,485 from donations from the business community and the general public and from net income of our fund raisers. We appreciate this generous support from the community. None of this income goes to the social aspects of our club.

In the same time period we:

Used $37,158 to support local club programs:

• Scholarships paid -$15,250

• Exams, eyeglasses and hearing aids for adults and children including expenses for supplies- $11,637

• Testing Equipment - $8,277

• White Cane programs - $3,449

Made cash donations of $2,350 to various Lions charities including Lions Club International Foundation and Tennessee Lions Charities. 

Made cash donations of $1,000 to the Tennessee School for the Blind

 Made donations of $9,280 to other organizations serving Cumberland County including Avalon, the Phoenix School, House of Hope, Kids on the Rise, The United Fund of Cumberland County, the Fairfield Glade Fire Departmnt, and Fairfield Glade Residence Services.

The total spent was $57,340 including a minor amount in miscellaneous expenses. In addition we awarded an additional $2,500 in  scholarships that will be paid when we are provided the names of the schools that will be attended.
