Lions and Optimists Clean Up Braille Trail

February 20, 2021

Forsyth County Lions Club and Forsyth-Cumming Optimist Club members, along with several other community volunteers, joined forces to clean up the Braille Trail at Fowler Park in Cumming, Georgia.

The trail is 375 feet (114 meters) long and was built in 2018 as a Lions Centennial Legacy Project. There are several signs in English and Braille along the trail plus two (2) butterfly gardens to attract pollinators. All are welcome to visit the trail.

The Lions Club appreciates the time and talents of each volunteer who helped in this community service project.
