Melvin Jones Fellowship Recipients

These two gentlemen have served their community through the Lions Club for a combined 100+ years!

Harold Nelson shown with wife Dorothea (left) is a very talented individual and long time Homer resident. He is a retired educator, active in his church and community, and is a 'show up' kind of guy. Harold became a member in 1958.

Mike Barton show with wife Kathy (right) started the huge hog farming industry in the Homer area. The Barton family and Barton Farms continually make donations to community organizations and have helped to enable the club fundraisers to be successful. Mike became a Lion in 1964.

Both of these individuals work hard and actively participate in all of our projects and contribute a great deal of knowledge and experience to help guide our club.
