Who We Are

The Lions are your friends and neighbors volunteering to help our two communities - our youth and their families, the visually impaired, and those Inglis Yankeetown residents who are in need of our help.

When it comes to meeting challenges, our response is simple: We serve. Our volunteer projects unite Lions around the world. And our work is unconditional. We aren't limited by continents or restricted to certain causes. Lions help wherever, whenever and however we can.
Our 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities.

Ready to Help, In Our Communities or Worldwide Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy. The World's Largest Service Club Organization Our 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet.

What We Do

The Inglis Yankeetown Lions Foundation, Inc. is a tax-exempt, 501(c)3, charitable organization.  It operates all of our Lions fund raising events and makes all of our charitable donations.  100% of the proceeds raised by the Foundation are donated to charitable entities, local organizations and fund our vision assistance program.
The Foundation gratefully accepts donations, bequests, and contributions to further its service to the community and to the charitable entities.  Contributions to the Inglis Yankeetown Lions Foundation, Inc. are deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes as set out in the IRS regulations. Each year, over $10,000 is raised and given out in the form of donations to our school, students, assistence for visually impaired and worthy service organizations.  Check out our Programs & Projects Page to see what we do.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
