The 24th ANNUAL IOWA CITY NOON LIONS CLUB FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT will be held on Monday, July 28th at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City. Come and join us at historic FINKBINE GOLF COURSE, home course for the University of Iowa.

Iowa Football and NFL Star Tim Dwight will be on hand once again to meet and visit with participating golfers. One of the area's most poular golf outings, this is our major annual fundraising event. Thanks to the efforts of Project Chairman Doug Busch, and his wife Julie, along with the efforts of many club members, this event helps to provide important funding so that the Iowa City Noon Lions can continue to provide support within the community and beyond!

DINE OUT FOR LIONS - You can help raise funds for your Lions Club by dining out at HUDSON'S SOUTHSIDE TAP, located at 482 Highway 1 West, Iowa City Iowa. The owners and staff of Hudsons have agreed to contribute to the Iowa City Lions, a part of the total receipts generated by patrons on the last Wednesday of the 3rd month of each quarter in 2024 (except for December, when that date will be the 34d Wednesday).  So by dining at Hudson's on March 27th, June 26th, September 25th and December 18th, a portion of the daily receipts will be be dontated to your club.  Of course, feel welcome to support Hudsons by dining there on any day of your choosing.

CORNEA TRANSPORTATION FOR TRANSPLANTATION - Lions Club Members serve as couriers, transporting corneas across Iowa for transplantation into waiting patients!  We need Members who can act as couriers, and transport these corneas.  Please contact Dick Minette or John Stoll for information about how you can assist.

IOWA KIDSIGHT PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN VISION SCREENING -- Project Chair John Stoll reports that Kidsight Screenings are now being scheduled. This is a significant service project for our club. Jon reports our club is the #1 Club in the State of Iowa for KidSight Screenings!

Bag up your gently worn shoes, and bring them with you to the next Club meeting.  President Jeff, or another club member, will then arrange to transport collected shoes to Mount Vernon, to be assembled and shipped.
