Overview

The Kempsville Lions Club Annual Charity Golf Tournament & District Governor's Cup is one of the ways we raise funds to meet our commitment to helping others with sight, hearing, diabetes, and other medical problems and basic needs.

100% of all net proceeds raised by the tournament go back to the community in the form of assistance.

Assistance is given in the form of eye exams and eyeglasses, PediaVision (early eyesight detection) for small children ages 6 months - 12 years, hearing aids, cataract surgery, diabetes screening, sight and hearing screening, clothing and food at Christmas time, scholarships to three high school seniors, and Pony and Colt Leagues.

In addition, these funds help support local diabetes and youth exchange camp, leader dog school, Lions Medical Eye Bank, Lions of Virginia Hearing Foundation, the Kempsville Rescue Squad, the Southeastern Virginia Foodbank, Pony Colt Baseball, the Lions Eyeglass Recycling center as well as Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.

As you can see the Kempsville Lions club reaches a lot of people with a variety of needs and we cannot provide this assistance without your help. Please continue to support us so those in our community with needs can receive the assistance we can provide.
