November 2025 Service Project: Spreading Holiday Cheer!
The Lake Ann Lions Club came together to write 260 holiday cards for senior citizens across Benzie County. Each card was handwritten with care to be delivered through Benzie Senior Resources’ Meals on Wheels program. We hope these messages bring smiles, warmth, and are a reminder that our community cares.

LALC sponsored a Peace Poster Contest at Benzie Central Middle School. This poster was selected to be the club winner and entered into the Lions Club District Contest. For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.

October 2025 Service Projects: Providing snacks and aiding reading literacy As part of Lions Club International, the LALC participated in a project during the LCI Mental Health Awareness Week. LALC donated a truck load of snacks to the newly opened Grand Travers Mental Health Crisis and Access Center. This donation provides a snack to clients as the access the services at the center.

LALC members put together booklets and stuffed book bags for PoWeR Books. This non-profit organization has touched the lives of thousands of children by providing books and other literacy items to help stimulate the learning process.
