The goals of the McGaheysville-Massanutten Lions Club are to help satisfy needs that present themselves in our local community, our district, our state, our nation and the world. We locally serve the McGaheysville-Massanutten area including the eastern half of Rockingham County in the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA
 
The objectives of the McGaheysville-Massanutten Lions Club are to serve by having our members work together to:

- volunteer their time and effort through service work activities
- volunteer their time and effort through fundraising activities
- provide direct financial assistance to charitable organizations
- help define and solve community needs
- help foster an understanding among all people
- cooperate with other Lions Clubs to provide needed services
