The Ocala Lions Club held it's 85th Anniversary Charter Celebration on March 19, 2011, exactly 85 years to the day from when the club was chartered in 1926.  In fact, former President Lion Gerry Gutman used the original gavel that started the first meeting in 1926 to open the celebration.
