LIONS TALE

Last Thursday evening (September 17th) Lions Max Best, John Lehmann, Dave Pope and Shane Leverenz attended Troop 29's Court of Honor.
There were a multitude of merit badges and promotions in rank earned by our scouts.  Lion Max Best made sure that scout leader Mr. Roe got an eye glass drop box for the people at B.S.A. Headquarters to donate glasses.  Lion Shane Leverenz (as our Boy Scout liaison) presented Troop 29 with a Special Kids Day attachment for their activity plaque.  Our scouts were a great help to the Rocklin Lions parking lot supervision at the event.  Lion Shane will also see that the scout troop gets the license plate for their equipment trailer.

A reminder that we will not be having our garage sale on September 26th.  It has been post phoned until further notice.  Several of our club members will not be able to participate in the event....including your bulletin editor.  Be sure to read Lion Victor Tulbure's notice on the new White Cane Day information.
