History
The West Salem Lions Club just completed its 40th year of providing free summer concerts in West Salem Park in the historic Edgewater neighborhood. The concerts were originally a City of Salem project until budget shortfalls forced the city to cut programs. The West Salem Lions Club stepped up at that time and began producing the series with the help of sponsorships from community business partners.
