The Southern California Inka Lions Club proudly invites the community to the 89th Annual Student Speaker Contest, a long‑standing program that empowers young people to develop leadership, confidence, and public‑speaking skills. Local students will present original speeches on an important topic affecting today’s youth.
2026 Contest Theme
Youth Mental Health: Overcoming Barriers to Well‑Being
This year’s theme focuses on the challenges young people face in maintaining mental wellness. Students will explore ideas related to:
- Support
- Stress
- Inclusion
- Stigma
- Hope
Their speeches aim to inspire awareness, understanding, and positive change within the community.
