The Village Lions Club was chartered on March 3, 1953.  We have had an illustrous history.  Lion Robert "Bob" Austin was District Governor, 1977-1978, and then Council Chair, 1788-1979.  He served as State Parlimentarian for at least 20 years.  Lion Robert McMasters was District Governor, 2012-2013.  We have had several Zone  and Region Chairs.

The Village Lions Club is located in The City of The Village, Oklahoma, a subdivision totally surrounded by Oklahoma City.  Our Clubhouse is located at the Southwest corner of Duffner Park.  While our address is 1 Duffner Dr., this address is only for the Clubhouse.  When planning on visiting us, we are located on the West side of Winston Street just North of the Winston and Tottingham intersection.

Besides supporting the State Lions projects of the Lions Boys Ranch in Perkins, the Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank, and the Mobil Health Screening Unit, we support many local projects.  Some of these are: providing eye glasses for the needy, recycling old eye glasses, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, providing coats for needy children at Ridgeview Elementary,  support BritVill Food Pantry, and helping with the Fall and Spring Fairs of The City of the Village.

The Village Lions Club is a part of Lions Clubs International, founded in 1917.  We have grown to over 1.35 million members located in 210 countries around the world.  The Village Lions are a part of Multiple District 3, State of Oklahoma, District 3-H, located in the central six counties of Oklahoma.

Lions Clubs are an "Invitation Only" organization.  We gladly receive an Application for Membership from any civic minded person interested in fellowship and service.  Applications may be secured through the link below, and then presented at any of the club meetings (see calendar for dates).
