We Serve

That's the motto of Lions Clubs International, and the Walnut Creek Host Lions Club exists to do just that.  If you want to serve your community, both locally and globally, this is where you need to be.

The Walnut Creek Host Lions Club is a group of about thirty-five men and women who live or work in Walnut Creek, or the surrounding communities.  Through our meetings and fellowship opportunities, we are able to serve together as friends, with a common purpose and goal.  Through our community service programs and projects, we can serve.  And through our fundraising, we enable others to serve.

The Walnut Creek Host Lions Club was chartered on April 7, 1924, as a part of Lions Clubs International.  Lions Clubs International is the largest service organization in the world with over 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries and geographic areas.   Lions Clubs International Foundation is consistently ranked as the number one non-governmental organization in the world.

Please check out this website.  Much of it is designed to let you know a little something about our Club, even before you decide to visit a meeting or participate in a service opportunity.  There is a calendar of events, information about the organization and activities of our Club, and links to other sites about Lions.
