Hit the Jackpot XXI  August 11 and 12, 2017

Twenty First year for Hit the Jackpot in Jackpot, Nevada, bigger and better than ever!

104 golfers participated on a very nice day, with tee off at 8 am sharp, the temperature was ideal for an early start.  We had several players who succeeded in sinking a putt in the Putting Contest between the 9th and 10th holes.  The top three teams in each of the 3 flights won some Pro Shop gift certificates and the last place team recieved special recognition and nice gift certificates too.  Who says coming in last does not have it's own reward?  At least 120 people attended the banquet from all over southern Idaho, eastern Oregon, Western Wyoming and even New Zealand.  Truly an international event!  Mark your calendars for August 10 and 11, 2018 and watch this site for more information as it becomes available.

The tournament proceeds benefit the Idaho Eastern Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation a 501 c 3 charitable organization.  Foundation programs include the Idaho Eye Bank, Idaho Lions Vision Clinic, personal health care assistance for sight preservation, hearing aid bank, vision and hearing screenings and eye glass recycling.   The Foundation serves Idaho and Eastern Oregon residents in Multiple District 39.   The Foundation belongs to and is supported by Lions members and other interested individuals by various fundraising events, grants and outright gifts.  Thank you for your support/

Hit The Jackpot XX August 12 and 13, 2016

The Golfers teed off at 8 AM sharp in great weather for a great day of golf.  Golfers from all over Idaho and neighboring states had a great time at the event, lots of raffle prizes were awarded, silent auction winners and no one won the hole in one prize for the 20th year in a row, better luck next time.  This year's prize was an RPOD Trailer, provided by Nelson's RV, Boise.  Close to $20,000 was raised which was donated to the Idaho E Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation.
