Every year the Dudley Lions raise as much as they can for Marie Curie Cancer Care. A collection takes place every March for the Marie Curie Daffodil appeal. This year the collection will take place on Saturday 10th March in Dudley Town Centre.

Message in a Bottle is not solely a Lions initiative, however it is an initiative that very many Lions Clubs across the country have taken to and recognise as a means of fulfilling our motto “We Serve”, often funding the scheme from their own charity accounts.
This scheme is free to the user. Whilst it is focused on the more vulnerable people in our community, anyone can fall downstairs, so this scheme can benefit anyone, including you. As a minimum it will save the Emergency Services valuable time identifying you and your emergency contacts. By telling whether you have special medication or allergies or not, it is a potential lifesaver and provides peace of mind to users and their friends and families.

Every year our Lions Club raises money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
In 2010 Dudley Lions was responsilble for raising 10% of the total funds raised within the Dudley area.

Every year our incoming president picks a designated charity for that year. This can be a charity close to his or her heart for personal reasons or simply a charity they feel needs extra support. This year (2011) our President, Sue Bird has opted for Brain Tumour UK and Dudley Lions will be working throughout the year to raise as much money for her cause as possible.
