Meeting Summary - June 11, 2019

  1. There is a food handler's class at Durbin Library on June 25 at 10:00 and 2:00.  You must preregister with the Health Dept.

  2. The Lions building is to be moved to Green Bank this week.  We will need to get together to do some work on it before Durbin Days.

  3. Kay mentioned the Peace Poster contest sponsored by Lions International.  We will discuss this again closer to school opening in the Fall.

  4. Bill Hevener received a 15-year membership pin.

  5. New officers were installed for the coming year with Kay Blackshire leading the pack as President.  Others officers are Paul Vosteen, Susan Striesel, Jacob Meck, Rick Wooddell, Harold Crist, Lucas Presco, Murrell Mullenax, and Thomas Brown.

  6. New members were presented with a mug and three will be inducted at the next meeting.

The club held a new member induction ceremony at the May 14th meeting for three recently-added members.
