Groundskeepers are hard at work preparing the 13th hole -- our hole -- for play. Everything will be in place in time for the first golfers.

The stands are empty as Lions prepare the food for the fans we know will come.

We are not the only volunteers at work. Already in place are spotters who will help to find wayward golf balls.

As we anticipated, our quiet corner beside the 13th green is now home to many a fan. A cheer rises for each good shot.

We can watch all day as this mass of fans moves through our area encouraging their favorite players.

All the while, at team of Lions from Southern Beaufort County cuts, cooks, wraps, and sells food and beverages. Profits will allow us to fulfill the motto: We Serve!
