INGLIS-YANKEETOWN LIONS CLUB 

 

Our Motto Is "We Serve"

The Inglis-Yankeetown Lions Club is located in Yankeetown, Fl. Yankeetown is a small town on Florida's western Gulf Cloast known for it's tree lined streets, quiet lifestyle and the Withlacoochee River. IYLC was chartered July 15, 1971. Currently we have 34 active members.  Our meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month and start at 7pm. Our Club funds or sponsors projects for the betterment of our community, such as:

  • Eye exams and glasses for those who need help acquiring them;
  • South Eastern Guide Dogs;
  • Florida Lions Conklin Center - a training center for handicapped individuals;
  • North Florida Lions Eye Foundation;
  • Christmas Baskets;
  • Scouting;
  • Yankeetown and Inglis Fire Departments;
  • District 35-O $1000 College Scholarship (see Club Projects for more info) 
  • Other needs in the community as they arise.

Interested In Becoming A Lion?

 If you're interested in being invited to join the Inglis Yankeetown Lions:

  • Contact the club. or any club member, and express your interest.

  • Attend a regular meeting and ask about becoming a member.

  • Or, come to the club house on any regular meeting night or come to the Friday Night Potluck dinner and let any Lion know you would like to learn more about the club and it's service projects.

                  It's just that simple to get started !
