Upcoming programs and speakers 2017

August 23, 2017:  Mark Krail, head coach, Los Gatos High School varsity football.  Coach Krail will give a preview of the upcoming season and introduce guest Wildcat players.  
August 30, 2017:  Representative Hannah Jacobs, from the Stanford Blood Drive center.  Blood drive next week.
September 6, 2017:  Blood Drive, DeAnza Room,Los Gatos Lodge, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Click here to schedule an appointment.  Stanford Blood Drive,   Adam Herbal, Morgan Lopez and Carol Musser, will demostrate and talk about Lions website and social media.  
September 13, 2017:  Representatives from Caninine for Companions will talk about puppy training and their program.  They will bring a puppy or more than one.
September 20, 2017:  Evan Low, State Assemblyman, 28th District.  The District boundaries are, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and Cupertino.
September 27, 2017:  Patricia Potts, Founder of Leo’s Haven, a Santa Cruz park that is certified ADA approved for children with special needs and handicaps.
October 4, 2017:  Eric C. Miller, CEO, of Microfabrica, a small manufacturer of miniature parts 3-D printed on silicon wafers for use in medical and aerospace applications.
October 11, 2017:  Colleen Hudgen, Executive Director of Live Oak Adult Day Care services.
October 25, 2017:  District 4-C6 Governor, Robert Stewart.
November 1, 2017:  Erika Buck, Executive Director of Youth Science Institute of Los Gatos will talk about the Summer Science programs they provide.
November 8, 2017: Marv Tuttle, Veteran of Vietnam, and member of Canine for Companions. Marv is a paraplegic and a scuba diver.  He runs "Scuba for Kids" with special needs at Monterey Bay Aquarium. Marv will bring his service dog Yara.
November 15, 2017:   Barbara Otto, President of "Grateful Garments", and Leah Michelle Taylor, Community Outreach / Development Associate, will talk about "returning dignity to victims of sexual violence", and their program to provide new clothing for sexual attack victims as they leave hospital.
November 22, 2017:  No meeting, Thanksgiving Holiday
November 29, 2017:   Christine Herrera, Outreach Director, of the Los Gatos Ballet.  She will talk about their extensive dance program and training for adults and children.
December 13, 2017:  Los Gatos High School choral performance.
December 27, 2017:  No meeting.  Holiday break.  
January 3, 2018:  Happy new Year
