Upcoming programs and speakers 2018-2019

June 19, 2019:  President Kevin Johnson's day.  Kevin wraps up his presidential year on June 29.  
June 26, 2019:  Rob Tufel, Executive Director of Cancer CAREpoint.  The organization provides personalized counseling, assistance, resources and education to all Silicon Valley cancer patients, survivors, families and care givers.
July 3, 2019:  Major General Kent Hillhouse, President of the Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation
July 10, 2019:  Change of meeting location.  This is the annual meeting and program at the Boy Scout Hut at Youth Park.  Located behind the tennis courts at Los Gatos High School. You don't want to miss the special guest that will be attending.  She's on the cover of the July LG Living Magazine.  A BBQ lunch will be served.  $10 cost.
July 17, 2019:  Julie Brajenovich, with JB Insurance.  Julie will address Medicare enrollment, prescription drugs, Medicare and other issues concerning Senior health plans.
Her program presentation will start  at 12:30 so she can exit By 1:00. Good information about Medicare supplemental plans.
July 24, 2019:  Angela McConnell, Executive Director of the Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga.  Home of the Lucas Artists Program and the center for festivals, art exhibitions, public programs and summer concert series. A dynamic and innovative force for arts education.
July 31, 2019:  Tom Graves, USMC, author of "Twice Hereos"Through his interviews and professional portraits, author and photographer Tom Graves shares the experiences of Japanese American veterans before, during and after World War II.
August 7, 2019:  Bob Landgraf, FBI Retirees
August 14:  Pending dates: District Governor or Scott Plautz, CEO and C0-Founder of "R Community".  This a new community phone app.  They are working with the Town and Chamber of Commerce to be the Official App of everything Los Gatos.  
August 21:  Mark Krail, Los Gatos High School Football Coach.  Mark will give an overview and insight into the upcoming LGHS football team and season.  Team members will be introduced.
August 28:  Stanford Blood Drive speaker.  Presenting information and guidelines for the next weeks Blood Drive.  Make your appointment now.
September 4:  Annual Lions Blood Drive at the Los Gatos Lodge.  Stay tuned for speaker information
