Honoring Servant Leaders

A leader is somebody who sees a need, sets a plan to meet it, and achieves his or her goals by serving others.  Leadership is not just a position - it is intentional action to give back.  Being a Lions Club president is not a title, but a position of servitude!

Servant leadership isn't a pyramid with the leader at the top. It's an inverted pyramid with the strength being the point upon which others are built up.  True leadership is serving others so that they acheive the community goals set forth by the group.  Since May 8, 1946, members of the Midlothian Lions Club have been unselfishly giving of themselves to make our community a better place for all.   This page is a tribue to our charter members, past presidents and others who have given so much to Midlothian.  Thank you for your service!
