Our Club co sponsors and helps support a Lions Club in Tanzania

One of our club members went to Africa to donate Optec 2000 vision testers  to be used in joint eye camps with the Lions Club of Arusha.  Attached is a  photo of Lions Club of Moshi Kibo accepting  one of four Optec 2000 vision testers

Photos of ceremony at Kiwakuki, an indienous HIV/Aids awareness and outreach organization in Moshi that Lions Club of Moshi Kibo has cultivated and will be sponsoring as a new self-standing, Lions club that is 100% indigenous (a rarity in Tanzania).  Presentation is being made of the second tranche of a total $6,000 grant from a Lions club in Norway that we have built a twinning relationship with.  We will be handing over that relationship directly to the Lions Club of Kiwakuki immediately upon its receipt of its Lions club charter.

Activities day at Tropicales Childrens Home in Moshi, an orphanage that we support by donating school supplies, clothing, and food, as a partner project with Lions Club of Dar es Salaam City (one of seven Lions clubs in Dar es Salaam).
