2025-2026 Lions Year

We issued 69 eye exam vouchers for kids, and glasses for the ones in need of them. Thank you to Houston Eye Associates, Eyeland and Conroe Eye Glass Bank for working with us to make this happen for the kids in our community.

We handed out dictionaries to 3rd graders at Milam Elementary and Austin Elementary. 

We built a porch for a gentleman in need to be able to get in/out of his trailer.

We provided a hot water heater to a family in need. 

We provided a stove to a lady in need. 

We enjoy working with Caney Creek High School to give out Scholarships to students who apply and come to the essay competion. These students stand in front of strangers (Lion Club Judges) and receit their essay and answer any questions. 

We have 3 caterogies (Diabetes Awareness Essay, Drug Awareness Essay and Oustanding Youth) 

This year we were able to award 3 winners in each catergoy. 

1st Place  $1,000.00

2nd Place: $750.00

3rd Place: $500.00
