Since 1993, the East Providence Lions Club has proudly partnered with the Scholarship Foundation of East Providence to fund two (2) scholarships of $500 each to graduating seniors residing in the community. The students may attend either a public or private school and must be on track to graduate in June of the current academic year.

A bonus feature regarding these scholarships is the fact that there is a 100% matching (dollar-for-dollar) provision due to the generosity of an anonymous donor. The end result is that the club's initial $1,000 in funding becomes $2,000 ($1,000 for each student) in scholarship assistance.
