Gresham Lions Fall Horse Ride
The Fall Ride has been canceled
for 2023 due to a lack of man power.
 
Welcome to the Gresham Lion’s
Memorial Weekend Horse Ride May 26-28, 2023!

This trail ride will be held at the same location as our fall ride.
Entertainment is brought to you by Captain‘s Cove resort.
Road Trip the band
-TRAIL INFO-
Friday- Short 3 mile ride
Also 20 acre field where camping is will be open to ride.
Saturday- trail opens @10am-12pm. Halfway point will be open serving food and refreshments. HALFWAY POINT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! (At the Gresham Lion’s shelter) The trail is 14 miles.
Sunday- trail opens @10am-12pm. There will be no half way point. The trail is 7 miles.
The trails consist of woods, fields, and road crossings. All trails are marked. Please respect the landowners and stay on trails!
This is a, “bring your own horse” event. Coggins are required. There will be a rider waiver for each horse rider to be signed.
Dogs must be leashed.
Water will be available.
Wood will be available for sale.
Generators are allowed.
Food available all day at the Captains Cove Resort.
$10 a horse for the whole weekend OR day
$25 camping for a 55’x55’ rough camping area, (field, no hills). First come first serve.
We do not take reservations!
***We ask/force this rule, no horses on Captains Cove Property. Violators will be handled in a manner way***

Memorial Weekend Trail Ride

We do not take reservations!
Sites are measured out week of...
(DUE TO CROP-SO PLEASE WAIT TILL FRIDAY AM) and
first come first serve Friday of ride!
55’x55’ rough camping in a hay field!

Saturday- 15 mile trail opens @10am-12pm Halfway point will be open serving food and refreshments.

HALFWAY POINT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

(At the Gresham Lion’s Shelter)

Sunday- 7 mile trail opens @10am-12pm.

There will be no half way point on Sunday.
