SERVICE PROGRAMS for the Taylor Lions Club and Taylor Lions Foundation
The Taylor Lions Club is active with numerous fundraisers and service projects. Club members provide free labor to raise money for these fundraisers. The profits from those Fundraisers go into our 501c3 Taylor Lions Foundation. The Foundation funds philanthropic projects, often with further free effort from Taylor Lions Club members. Here is a list of major events. Our Fiscal Year begins on July 1.
SPOT Vision Screening for Area Children (August - October & Year Round) at:
- Various VBS programs
- Head Start vision screening, July county-wide event
- TISD backpack give-away, August
- Coupland ISD vision screening, September
- Thrall ISD vision screening, September
- Taylor ISD (THJ Campus) vision screening, September
- St. Mary School vision screening, October
- Local daycare & church vision screening, upon request
