Ham & Bean Dinner - 

Easter Egg Hunt - Held the Saturday day before Easter. While the Community Building will be open for restrooms, we encourage everyone to meet at the park pavilion across the street for instructions for the event.  There are three age groups, Infant - 3 yrs., 4 - 7, and 8 - 11.  After the Egg Hunt, every kid will be given an individual sack to take home.

NCHS Wrecked Car Display - Lions Club co-sponsor a safe driving display during the late springtime. 

Towanda Elementary School snow cones - Lions Club Members serve snow cones to students during their annual play day.

May-October

Highway Litter Control - Lions Club members pick up trash monthly along two miles of Towanda-Barnes Road south of Towanda.  Starting at 9:00AM at the Towanda Legion on the Monday following the monthly club meeting. Weather permitting.

July

Towanda 4th of July snow conesThe Towanda Lions Club snow cone booth is setup in the north park. The booth is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm.  

Camp Lions Snow Cones - Lions Club Members serve snow cones to camp residentsat Lake Bloomington.  Camp Lions Youth Camp is for blind/low vision campers at East Bay Camp, 24248 Ron Smith Memorial Highway, Hudson, IL  (click here for more information about Camp Lions). 

Easter Seals Camp snow cones - Lions Club Members serve snow cones to camp residents at Lake Bloomington (click here for more information about Easter Seals Camp).

Salvation Army Bell Ringing - Date to be determined at Krogers on College Ave.
