Peoria Elementary

4TH Friday Weekend Food Packs

We bag and deliver to Peoria Elementary, 80 food packs for the 4th Friday weekend to help those children who do not have food to eat over the weekend.

It has been relayed to the Club that a lot of these food packs are the only food many children have on the weekend.  Our weekend food packs are packed and compact to fit in a students backpack and contains items for two breakfast, two lunch, two dinner, two drinks, four snacks that are distributed by the school nurse.

Our Club is proud to be a part in this small way knowing their is a little food to eat and not have to go hungry the entire weekend until Monday's school breakfast.

If you would like to help with this project, we will welcome your tax deductible donations to our Foundation.  $10 will cover almost three food packs so every dollar donated helps tremendously.

If you would like to help with our Hunger initiative, currently, you can mail checks to our Peoria Sunset Lions Club Foundation; PO Box 326, Peoria, AZ 85380-0326.  We are making bank arrangements to receive your online donations and will have this page updated as soon as completed.
