To request assistance, use this form

  • Donations – Lion Tony Pernas set up a GoFundMe site Everglades City Irma Relief Fund – https://www.gofundme.com/evergladescity – for our Club to raise money to help the community.

  • Lion President Joe West is the Volunteer Coordinator for the city, coordinating the all of the various volunteer groups that have come into the area to help local residents and businesses that need assistance.

  • Lion Tony Pernas is representing the Everglades Lions Club on an organization formed by the state and city to assist the city in disaster recovery.

  • Meals have been served daily at the City Park to area residents who have no food, refrigerator, stove, etc. The Lions helped arrange for organizations to bring in food, serve the meals, and delivered them to people who couldn't get into town.

  • Provided food and soda for the Blessing of the Fleet event. This is an annual event held at the beginning of Stone Crab season, which is such a big part of the town's culture and economy.
