Field of Flags - Memorial Day

The Washington Lions Club has invited us to send the names and branch of service in which our members have served. They would like to put the names and military service on their Board of Honor, a tradition every Memorial Day.

Those Lions who served and are interested in being included on the Board of Honor, please send me your name and branch of service for inclusion.   Please provide Pam Tanzwith your information by Friday, May 14th.

Community Garden Application 2021

It is that time of year again to apply for a garden plot in the Brookfield Lions Community Garden.  The Community Garden Application and Rules  can be found by clicking the link below.
There is a slight increase in the cost for plots this year - $25 for small and $35 for large - the first increase in years, and just $5.00 per plot.  Current gardeners have until March 15 to renew.  After a short grace period, we will begin to assign remaining plots on a first come first serve basis to new gardeners on our waitlist and special requests from existing gardeners.
Since Brookfield is still in a Red Zone for COVID, a Spring general garden cleanup date has not been set.   You will be notified of the date once your application has been accepted and your plot assigned.
Please do not hesitate to get your application in for your Community Garden plot or you may miss out!

For donations to the Brookfield Lions, please click HERE and you will be transferred to a secure site.  Once there, you can either select the "Donate Now" button or scroll down to the event listing and select "See details".  After you have paid you will receive an email confirming your payment.

The Lions Club is the world’s largest international service organization. Members have been working tirelessly since the early part of the 20th century to help restore and improve sight and hearing to millions of people. Here in Brookfield, our members are very active in programs that increase access to eye care and hearing services for those in need.

We collect used eyeglasses, help raise guide dog puppies, and organize vision screenings. Our presence in the community is widespread - you'll find us leading youth outreach programs, organizing road races and blood drives, and championing the town's annual Memorial Day parade.

100% of funds raised by the Brookfield Lions Club are used to benefit charities and local community programs. No overhead is ever deducted. The generousity of our friends and neighbors makes these donations and other service programs possible, and we are grateful for their support.

Please explore the links on this page to learn more about our club.  Contact us to find out how to attend a local meeting or become a member. We welcome men and women who want to help their community while enjoying the fellowship of a great organization.  "We Serve" - and so can you!

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
