COMMUNITY GARDEN CLEAN-UP - Saturday, April 29, 2023
- Brookfield Lions and LEOs were scheduled to work together to help prepare the 106 community garden plots for the spring and summer season. Unfortunately, inclement weather all weekend washed out the clean-up. (Is that a pun?) :-)
- Lion Kathi Hlavac who leads the Community Garden project for the Lions will work with Lion Dori Cundari and the LEOs to hopefully have a scaled back clean-up of the garden.
- The Community Garden is supported and managed by volunteer members of the Brookfield Lions Club in conjunction with the Town of Brookfield. It is located on the Gurski property along Route 133 in Brookfield, approximately one-quarter mile south of Route 25 (Whisconier Road).

Shred Day and Food Drive - Saturday, May 20, 2023
- Many thanks to the LEOs for their help at the Brookfield Lions Shred Day and Food Drive on Saturday, May 20.
- It was a day where the Lions had multiple events going on and the LEOs helped make sure our Shred Day fundraiser was a success.
- In addition, the non-perishable food that was collected benefited the Brookfield Food Pantry.
- Thank you LEOs!
